Are you ready for eternity?

Eternity starts - when your heart stops. It could happen the next heartbeat.....so wise people get ready to meet their creator while their heart is still beating.

Adam, the first man, sinned. When God saw that sin, He saw the entire human race with that sin, for we all were in Adam at that time. So Adam's sin doomed the entire human race, and made every human born on earth, unfit and unqualified for heaven. Therefore, no matter how good someone could be, their goodness would not qualify them, it could NOT change their DNA from Adam's. It could NOT take them from Adam's lineage. So there is nothing any human can do on their own to make it into heaven: nothing at all. No, salvation must come from God. Somehow, our lineage from Adam must be severed: we must be a totally new species of man not at all related to Adam - if we are ever to live in heaven.

Jesus Christ came from heaven to earth, to be born as a man: He had one purpose: to undo what the first man Adam had done: He came to bring salvation to a lost world. God had said that "without the shedding of blood, there is no remission [forgiveness] of sins." So God came to earth and became a man, so that He would have blood to shed. In other words, He was born only to die.

It is written that in Jesus "we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins." And again, "Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world." God, our creator, put the sins of the whole world upon Jesus as He hung on the cross. Therefore, there was peace between God and man, for the debt of sin had been paid in full. Jesus Christ had become the doorway to heaven. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me." This simple truth is an offense to many people. Yet it is truth. It is written of Him.: "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Just to be sure you understand: if you don't come through Jesus Christ to get to heaven, you are NOT getting in. Where does this leave those of other religions? Of course, on the outside.

How does God solve the problem of the lineage of Adam? We all carry Adam's DNA, for we are all, to the last human on earth, descended from him. Can we choose to whom we are born? No, there is absolutely nothing any human being can do on his or her own: we cannot choose our parents. And there are no other parents on earth except those descended from Adam! Only God can solve this dilemma. But thank God, through Jesus Christ, we can be changed supernaturally into an totally new species of man!!! God the Holy Spirit can reach deep into us, and recreate our spirit man, in the twinkling of an eye! It is written, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: [creation] old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And again it is written, "He that believes on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him." "This is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son." "He that has the Son has life; and he that has not the Son of God has not life.""These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God." "These are written, that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you might have life through his name."

God could not have made it any clearer than this: any human being that receives Jesus as Lord, receives eternal life. We know there are some in the world that deny that Jesus is the Christ. They deny that Jesus came from heaven to be born as a man. They deny that Jesus was very much God. Then deny that God would have a Son. What does God say to them? "Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son. Whosoever denies the Son, the same has not the Father: he that acknowledges the Son has the Father also."

So how do we have the Son? How do we receive Him? It is written, "whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." God could not have made is simpler! However, if this seems too simple, I can say it like this: "if you shalt confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead, you shalt be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
